Every Journey Must Have A Beginning

Everything has to start somewhere, our known Universe began with the Big Bang, Christianity started with the life and death of Jesus and my journey into writing began many years ago when I picked up my first pencil and used it to put strange, disjointed marks on the page that lay before me.

All my life I have had a deep love of literature. It started with the science-fiction and fantasy worlds, such as those of Tolkien and Pratchett. I escaped to these fantastic worlds whenever I got the chance, immersing myself in the worlds of epic heroism and magical encounters. I later branched out into different areas, from crime fiction to some of the older classics, though even with these I usually slipped easily back into the supernatural realms.

It was only natural that I eventually started to develop my own ideas and worlds that I wanted to display to the world in the magnificent ways that authors have done before me. I created characters who performed heroic feats and love stories that made Romeo and Juliet's looks tame. I wanted to write stories that moved people to tears and caused them to roar with laughter. That what my challenge to myself and it still is. Everytime I pick up a pen or start to type, I remember those feelings that I want to capture and the audience that I want to captivate.

Everything has to begin somewhere, and this is where I will begin to share my words with you.
